PA/EA to the CEO

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to start at Fireball in early 2015. You would be working for a dynamic CEO of a fast-paced event management company in London SW18.

This role will be to provide right hand support to the CEO, a mum of two, in the business and her personal life. Working in an extremely busy environment you will need to be very hard working, highly organised, have great initiative, attention to detail and be a fantastic multi-tasker. Whilst this role is based in event management you do not need to have event experience, but you will need to be a graduate and have come from a PA or project management background with at least 2 years’ experience. You will need to be able to provide critical support for a dynamic CEO working to tight timelines as well as getting involved in general office and team management, new business projects and events.

Great interpersonal skills are required as you will need to liaise at all levels, dealing with clients and celebrities, so you must be personable, patient, approachable, positive and have bags of common sense. Good IT skills are a must. The ideal PA/EA would be a diligent, trusted worker who is prepared to get stuck in to any task thrown their way, we are looking for a real team player with a bright temperament, flexibility, confidence and a ‘can do’ attitude.

This exciting opportunity is for someone that has the ability to work on their own initiative in order to comply to all administrative procedures and standards that allow the smooth running of the team. The successful applicant will be allocated a high degree of responsibility that includes handling confidential information with complete discretion. It is essential that you are able to cope with multiple, conflicting demands and can prioritise those whilst remaining calm under the pressure.

Ideally this job would be full time, but we are willing to consider excellent candidates who could work reduced hours on a daily basis.
Salary is dependent upon experience.

Fundraising Executive/Manager (subject to experience)

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to work within the Fundraising team at Fireball working on procurement and implementation. Join a very busy division within a fast-paced event management company in London. We are looking for a bright graduate with preferably at least 1-2 years’ experience within a busy office environment and ideally with fundraising or event experience although this is not essential.

Excellent written, numerical, communication and negotiation skill are a pre-requisite and candidates should be confident, enthusiastic, proactive, hardworking and be able to hit the ground running. The candidate should have client facing and customer service experience.

The role will require work on high profile fundraising events, creating and managing fundraising items pre and post event. This will include celebrity appearances, memorabilia and money can’t buy packages. Key responsibilities will include communicating with donors, copy writing as well as client and bidder liaison, support on operating all fundraising mechanisms on site at events and full support to the other members within the Fundraising team. The candidate should have skills necessary to work to tight deadlines, good persuasive skills, understand the confines of charity budgets and have excellent interpersonal skills. Event management duties are also included in this role.

The role is full time and on a permanent basis.
Salary is dependent upon experience.

Fireball Internships

There are two internships available at Fireball to start as soon as possible in 2015.

We're looking for an enthusiastic graduate with a passion for events and who wants to learn about all elements, including Event Management, Fundraising and Talent Management.

The intern role will be to provide support across all aspects of the business and the candidate must have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be prepared to get involved in any task.

We produce a variety of events – from entertainment shows, awards dinners, one-off prestigious events, corporate annuals, conferences, sports competitions, parties and weddings – so if you are keen to learn more about all aspects of event management, from concept to completion, then this is an exciting opportunity for you to gain invaluable experience within the industry.
